Quality Counts Del Norte is part of a state-wide process to improve the quality of early childhood care and education called the California Quality Rating and Improvement System (CA-QRIS). Quality Counts Del Norte is a consortium of early childhood providers and agencies. We work together to provide training, resources, and incentives for care and education providers to improve the quality of the services they provide to children and families.
For providers, this offers expanded opportunities for training and self-assessment, as well as limited coaching to develop and implement quality improvement plans. While providers can choose their own quality improvement pathways, the Quality Counts Del Norte consortium has selected the following elements to focus on:
